Car stereo speaker does not work?
I have a 2001 Mitsubishi Galant. Last year, after I had a water leak coming from under the dashboard and running down the side shotgun floor, my car speaker driver's side door stopped work. I checked everything. I looked at the back of the stereo and the speaker to see if the wiring has come undone. There are no tears in the speaker. The balance is set correctly (if you switch on the driver's side, you only get the sound on the loudspeaker rear left). The fuses seem to be good (I could check the translucent colored ones – not the biggest money). I see no cut Over evident everywhere, but much of the wiring is wrapped tightly in electrical tape. The only thing I can think of is that somehow the drop in the car on the side gun had somehow short-circuited a thread that takes music to the driver's side, but this does not make sense to me. As I said, no son seem to be cut or in bulk. I'm at a loss. Does anyone have any ideas?
Pull the panel off the top of your speaker and radio dashboard, to take a whole son bonding (16-18 gauge son will be fine) using a probe rear beam cables (while its still connected to the radio) to the wire that runs this place (just follow the wire color of the enclosure or rear radio) if you turn the radio on the right and you hung out a sound from the speaker means you have a break in the wire somewhere. If you do nothing of the speaker, I would check the speaker himself to see if its any good. if it is then that means you've burned in a channel radio and what you can do is hire a specailist mail and pray that they can solve the problem, or just go buy another radio either aftermarket or factory.
